Aquamann Water Solutions Pty Ltd is a family-owned business providing irrigation, pump, bore and water system installation, servicing and maintenance in the Southern Highlands and surrounding areas. We are seeking Irrigation Service Technicians to join our team with multiple positions available.

The ideal candidate will have a background in irrigation, plumbing, pumps, electrical work or related trades, though irrigation experience is not essential as training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current C Class driver's licence (preferably manual).
• Must hold a current White Card.
• Positive, practical and can-do attitude; able to work independently and in a team.
• Be able to fault-find and solve problems; strong customer service mindset.
• Physically fit for hands-on outdoor work; able to manage multiple jobs.
• Willing to learn and develop additional skills; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain irrigation systems.
• Fault-finding and repairs of irrigation systems.
• Install and service irrigation controllers, valves and related equipment.
• Install, service and maintain pumps and pump systems; perform bore pump work.
• Carry out bore pump and bore system installation and maintenance.

Irrigation Service Technician – Multiple Positions Available

Aquamann Water Solutions Pty Ltd is a family-owned business providing irrigation, pump, bore and water system installation, servicing and maintenance throughout the Southern Highlands and surrounding areas.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking Irrigation Service Technicians to join our team, with multiple positions currently available.

We are interested in applicants with experience in irrigation, plumbing, pumps, electrical work, mechanical fitting or other relevant mechanical trades. However, previous irrigation experience is not essential, and training will be provided to the right candidate who is willing to learn.

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, working outdoors and dealing directly with customers.

About the Role

Your day-to-day work may include:

Installation, servicing and maintenance of irrigation systems

Fault-finding and repairs to irrigation systems

Installation and servicing of irrigation controllers, valves and associated equipment

Installation, servicing and maintenance of pumps and pump systems

Pump repairs and replacements

Bore pump and bore system installation and maintenance

Water filtration and associated water system works

Trenching, pipework and general installation works

Diagnosing faults and providing practical solutions

Assisting customers and providing a high standard of customer service

Completing service reports and job documentation

As our work varies considerably from day to day, we are looking for someone who is adaptable, organised and willing to take on a broad range of tasks.

About You

The ideal applicant will:

Hold a current C Class driver's licence, preferably with the ability to drive a manual vehicle

Hold a current White Card

Have a positive, practical and reliable can-do attitude

Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Have strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Be physically fit and comfortable performing hands-on outdoor work

Be organised and able to manage multiple jobs throughout the day

Take pride in their workmanship

Have excellent customer service and communication skills

Have basic computer, tablet and smartphone skills

Be willing to learn and develop additional skills

Experience in irrigation, plumbing, pumps, electrical work, mechanical fitting or a similar trade will be highly regarded.

Applicants without direct industry experience may also be considered where they demonstrate good mechanical aptitude, reliability and a willingness to learn.

Hours

This is a Monday to Friday position, with approximately one Saturday per month required.

Remuneration will be negotiated based on the successful applicant's qualifications, skills and experience.

Depending on experience and the requirements of the position, a company service vehicle may be provided for work-related travel throughout the Southern Highlands and surrounding areas.

The successful applicant will receive ongoing training and the opportunity to develop experience across a broad range of irrigation, pumping and water system applications.
