Responsibilities

• Commission SolBank Storage Power Blocks for utility-scale BESS projects.
• Perform preventative & corrective maintenance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and restore equipment performance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and restore equipment performance to meet availability guarantees.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure safe, compliant work practices.
• Maintain accurate work orders, SOPs and spare-parts inventory.
• Support client training during commissioning and uphold safety standards at all times.

Who We Are

We’re expanding our national service team and looking for an experienced Service Technician to support, commission and maintain our SolBank Storage and broader BESS infrastructure across Australia. This role is hands‑on, field‑based and ideal for someone who thrives on solving technical problems at site.

What You’ll Do

• Commission SolBank Storage Power Blocks for utility‑scale BESS projects.
• Perform preventative & corrective maintenance to meet warranty and LTSA requirements.
• Work across ESCs, PCS, RMUs/switchgear, transformers, SCADA and networking devices.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and restore equipment performance to meet availability guarantees.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure safe, compliant work practices.
• Maintain accurate work orders, SOPs and spare‑parts inventory.
• Support client training during commissioning and uphold safety standards at all times.

What You’ll Bring

• Qualified Electrical Technician with 5+ years experience in service or maintenance within renewables or heavy industries.
• Strong understanding of inverters, MV systems, and electrical codes.
• SCADA exposure highly regarded.
• Comfortable travelling regularly (50%+).
• OSHA 30 (or willingness to obtain after hire).
• Proficient with MS Office; CMMS experience a bonus.
• First Aid certified and a clean driver’s licence.
• A team‑focused, professional approach with strong communication skills.
