Job summary

Otis Worldwide Corporation is seeking a skilled Lift Service Technician based in Brisbane, Queensland. You will repair and maintain lifts and escalators, attend breakdowns, and perform control modifications in line with safety and industry codes.

Required are an electrical license or Cert III in Electrotechnology, a valid driver’s license, and a minimum of five years in the lift industry. Strong fault-finding, safety focus, and teamwork are essential to succeed in this role at Otis.

Responsibilities

• Perform service repairs and maintenance as per procedures and manuals.
• Attend lift and escalator breakdowns; perform repairs and control modifications.
• Execute upgrades and repairs following applicable codes (SAA Lift Code AS1735).
• Provide standby/after-call-back coverage as needed.
• Identify process improvements; support training of apprentices and subcontractors.
• Liaise with customers and submit leads via Otis apps.
• Collaborate with field engineers, service mechanics and managers.
• Represent Otis in relationships with customers and suppliers.
