Job summary

Majors Group Australasia is seeking a hands-on Service Refrigeration Technician for our North Lakes team. You will service, repair, install and maintain commercial refrigeration and frozen dessert equipment across various customer sites.

Ideal applicants will hold a current driver’s licence, ARC refrigerant handling licence, restricted electrical licence and a Test & Tag qualification, with strong fault-finding, attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Attending service, breakdown, maintenance and warranty calls.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on refrigeration equipment.
• Performing mechanical overhauls and refrigeration reclaiming.
• Installing and commissioning machines and equipment.
• Testing systems, components and connections using appropriate tools and gauges.
• Identifying and replacing worn or defective parts.
• Completing job documentation accurately and on time.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with legislative requirements.
• Assisting with equipment deliveries and workshop tasks as required.

With continued growth across the business, we’re looking for an experienced and motivated Service Refrigeration Technician to join our North Lakes-based team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, problem solving and working both independently and as part of a supportive technical team.

You’ll be responsible for servicing, repairing, installing and maintaining commercial refrigeration and frozen dessert equipment across a range of customer sites.

Key responsibilities include:
