Job summary

Eastern Guruma Pty Ltd, a Civil and Mining contractor in WA, is seeking an experienced Service Person to support plant and machinery operations across WA projects. You’ll ensure equipment is maintained, serviced and operating safely on site, working with Supervisors, Project Managers and HD Fitters.

Key tasks include refuelling, inspections, record-keeping, and assisting with general labouring duties. A FIFO roster from Perth and a full Australian HR licence are preferred to join this dynamic

Qualifications

• Experience operating a service truck or similar equipment.
• Strong understanding of safe plant operation and maintenance practices.
• Ability to work FIFO and in remote site environments.
• Good communication skills with a strong team-focused mindset.
• Commitment to safety, professionalism.
• Must hold a current, full and active Australian HR driver’s licence.
• Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.

Responsibilities

• Refuelling, greasing and general servicing of plant and machinery.
• Conduct thorough pre-starts and post-shift inspections.
• Identifying and reporting faults, hazards and defects immediately.
• Supporting HD Fitters and site crews with plant readiness.
• Maintaining accurate fuel, maintenance and inspection records.
• Ensuring fire extinguishers, electrical leads and equipment are inspected and compliant.
• Completing daily timesheets and required documentation.
• Maintaining clean, tidy work areas, vehicles and equipment.
• Assisting with general labouring duties as required.

About the Role

Eastern Guruma is seeking an experienced Service Personto support plant and machinery operations across our WA projects. This role is critical to ensuring equipment is maintained, serviced and operating safely and efficiently on site.

You will work closely with Supervisors, Project Managers and HD Fitters to support daily operations, plant maintenance and site compliance.
