Job summary

UnitingCare Queensland is seeking a Service Leader for Project SEARCH to oversee operations at existing sites and support new program sites across Ipswich and Toowoomba. This role leads delivery, ensures fidelity to the Project SEARCH model, and develops annual delivery plans to improve outcomes for participants.

You will build partnerships with employers to create internships, supervise front-line staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory and funding requirements while delivering

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification or substantial experience in humans services or management.
• Understanding of NDIS environment, funding, reporting models and quality frameworks.
• Ability to build, develop and lead high performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service delivery at existing Project SEARCH sites and support new sites.
• Lead delivery in line with fidelity frameworks and licensing requirements.
• Develop and execute an Annual Program Delivery Plan for each site.
• Develop internships to teach participants marketable skills for community jobs.
• Lead assessments to inform Individual Employment Plans and risk assessments.
• Engage employers to secure employment opportunities for participants.
• Recruit, on-board and provide ongoing development for staff.
• Monitor budgets and ensure effective financial and billing practices.
• Review NDIS plans to maintain participant funding for participation.
