Job summary

Camp Australia is seeking an enthusiastic early childhood educator at our Moonee Ponds West service in Melbourne. You’ll design and maintain a safe, engaging program for primary-aged children and lead a passionate team of educators.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
• Completed or working towards a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain)
• Availability from 6:30 am - 8:30 am and 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Valid Child Protection training Certificate and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant program for primary-aged children.
• Plan exciting daily activities and prepare healthy snacks.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local school community.
• Lead a passionate team of educators at Moonee Ponds West.

In this role, you’ll design and maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant program. Plan exciting daily activities for primary-aged Children. Prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks, and build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local school community.
