Job summary

Bridge IT Engineering is seeking a Senior Systems Integration Engineer to support a large Federal Government environment in Canberra. The role is hands-on and senior, spanning across complex ICT environments with responsibilities for integration, testing, configuration and technical assurance.

You will provide high-level engineering advice to stakeholders, work across requirements, interfaces and security controls, and help ensure reliability and interoperability of systems in a demanding

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Senior Systems Engineer or related specialist.
• Experience integrating and supporting complex enterprise applications and infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, IP addressing, routing, DNS, DHCP, and network segmentation.
• Experience with security controls aligned to ISM and Essential Eight.
• Current NV2 security clearance.

Bridge IT is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Integration Engineer to support a large Federal Government environment in Canberra. This is a senior, hands-on technical engineering role working across complex and interconnected ICT environments. The successful candidate will support system integration, testing, configuration and technical assurance while providing high-level engineering advice to key stakeholders.

To be successful, you will have:

• Significant experience as a Senior Systems Engineer, Systems Integration Engineer or similar technical specialist.
• Demonstrated experience integrating and supporting complex enterprise applications, infrastructure and information systems.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, IP addressing, routing, DNS, DHCP and network segmentation.
• Experience across systems integration, configuration management, testing and validation.
• Experience implementing or assessing security controls aligned with the ISM and Essential Eight.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• The ability to operate autonomously and provide authoritative technical advice to senior stakeholders.
• A current NV2 security clearance.

Highly Desirable

• Complex secure Government ICT environments.
• Active Directory, Group Policy, PKI and identity/access management.
• Windows desktop and server Standard Operating Environments (SOEs).
• PowerShell, Bash, Python or similar scripting and automation technologies.
• System-of-systems engineering and complex interface management.
• Technical integration testing, T&E, trials or risk reduction activities.
• XMPP Chat, mail relay, proxy or voice/telephony services.
• Hardware and software configuration management and baseline control.
• System architecture and interface control documentation.
• Formal Systems Engineering qualifications or equivalent experience.
