Job summary

Seven West Media in Sydney is seeking an IT Service Desk Analyst to join our team and deliver reliable, secure IT services across Australia’s leading cross‑platform media organisation.

You’ll act as the primary contact for incidents, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and access issues, install and maintain workstations, and support secure remote access and cybersecurity controls under the Service Delivery Manager.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated IT service desk experience in an ITIL-aligned environment.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft technologies, including Windows, M365, AD, Exchange and SharePoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, with a professional telephone manner.
  • Analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with root-cause focus.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary contact for IT incidents and service requests, logging and progressing cases.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, access and business app issues.
  • Install, configure, maintain and upgrade workstations, OS, software and network gear.
  • Support secure remote access, wired/wireless networks, and cybersecurity controls.

A day in the life…

You're a driven IT Service Desk Analyst joining our team to help us deliver reliable, secure and continuously improving IT services across Australia's leading cross-platform media organisation.

You'll work closely with infrastructure, development, vendors and service providers, and report directly to the Service Delivery Manager. This role is based in Sydney.

More specifically, you will

  • Act as a primary contact for IT incidents and service requests, accurately logging, assessing, prioritising and progressing each case
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, access and business application issues, escalating complex matters to the appropriate team within agreed timeframes
  • Install, configure, maintain and upgrade workstations, operating systems, software, network equipment and related IT services
  • Support secure remote access, wired and wireless networks, Cisco devices, endpoint protection and other cybersecurity controls

What will you need

  • Demonstrated IT service desk experience in an ITIL-aligned environment, with experience using IT service management tools
  • Experience supporting Microsoft technologies, including Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Exchange and SharePoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional telephone manner and customer service focus
  • Sound analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify root causes and emerging trends
