Bridge IT Engineering is seeking a Lead Service Designer for a federal government department with offices in the ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC, WA. The role will address a critical gap in understanding the end-to-end service and identifying opportunities for improving the way the Australian Government designs and delivers services and programs through digital and non-digital solutions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop a business model and roadmap for implementing an Integrated Service Design function, as well as a capability maturity plan that focusses on knowledge transfer and upskilling staff working within streams.
Document detailed Blueprints of the Digital Health service offerings.
Establish effective governance to act as a design authority to provide quality assurance, planning and prioritisation checks and strategic alignment.
Operating a Service Design ‘Centre of Excellence’ for the Digital and Service Design Branch, to ensure consistency, transparency, and alignment.
Understand the research activities underway across the broader department and perform User Experience and Service Design functions for projects as required.

Criteria

Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing Service Design concepts and structures.
Suitable approach to delivering the services requested by the Department’s goals.
Experience with engagement, collaboration, and planning functions across aged care and/or healthcare sector.
Demonstrated value for money in comparison to market.
