Bridge IT Engineering is seeking a DevSecOps Lead for a large federal government department with offices in the ACT. The role will be expected to manage DevSecOps infrastructure within the program, provide guidance and direction within the DevSecOps sphere, and the ongoing security compliance of the DevSecOps environment.

Contribute to the underway innovation project via scripting, automation and orchestration tasks to enable system build sequence automation using a combination of the following technologies:
Powershell, Ansible and associated scripting languages/technologies
DevSecOps toolsets and methodologies including:
GitLab
Ansible
Terraform
Vault
Microsoft, Linux Operating Systems and enterprise applications
VMware suite of datacentre products
Experience managing DevSecOps and IT Systems within internet disconnected environments is highly desirable.
Contribute to the design, implementation and direction of the department DevSecOps overall design patterns for the department datacentres, offline (no internet) pattern usage, and how said patterns can be incorporated and employed into smaller Deployable LAN (D-LAN) suites.
Develop documentation to describe the design, configuration and implementation of build automation tools and associated system components.

Qualifications and Experience:

It is a requirement that the applicant has experience with the following:

Deployment and Management of Windows & Linux Operating Systems.
Virtualisation Technologies such as VMWare vSphere & vCenter.
Enterprise Database solutions such as SQL.
Automation & Orchestration toolsets including: Ansible, Powershell/PowerCLI, GitLab, including the development of build pipelines.
Working with internet disconnected environments.
