Job summary

Dell Technologies Consulting seeks a Service Delivery Senior Engineer to design, deploy and support VMware Cloud Foundation and related infrastructure for secure, scalable platforms across enterprise and defence environments. You will lead workshops, perform assessments, and deliver end-to-end solutions with Dell hardware.

In this role you will work on high-availability environments, manage lifecycle and automation, and provide Level 3 support across virtualization, OS, AD, DNS/DHCP, and DR.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of consulting, cloud infrastructure, virtualization, or enterprise infrastructure engineering.
• Expertise with VMware Cloud Foundation, vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and Aria Automation.
• Experience with Windows Server, Linux (RHEL), AD, DNS/DHCP, PKI, and backup/recovery.
• Demonstrated analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven track record delivering infrastructure solutions in secure or highly available environments.
• Must have NV1 security clearance or higher.
• VMware certifications (VCP-DCV, VCP-NV) and Cloud Foundation implementation experience.
• Defence, government, or other secure-environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops, technical assessments, and solution design for VMware Cloud Foundation projects.
• Design, deploy, and manage VCF platforms including lifecycle management and automation.
• Provide Level 3 support across virtualization, OS, identity services, backup, and DR.
• Develop documentation, implementation plans, test procedures, runbooks, and handover materials.
• Present recommendations, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve outcomes.

Responsibilities

As a Service Delivery Senior Engineer, you will help customers solve complex business and technology challenges through the design, deployment, and support of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and associated infrastructure solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor and technical leader, you will deliver secure, resilient, and scalable platforms across enterprise and defence environments, including remote and operationally sensitive deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops, technical assessments, and solution design activities for VMware Cloud Foundation and infrastructure projects using Dell hardware.
• Design, deploy, and manage VCF platforms, including lifecycle management, upgrades, automation, and integration with supporting services.
• Provide Level 3 support across virtualisation, operating systems, identity services, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Develop solution documentation, implementation plans, test procedures, runbooks, and operational handover materials.
• Present recommendations, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and collaborate with customer and delivery stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in consulting, cloud infrastructure, virtualization, or enterprise infrastructure engineering.
• Strong expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation, vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Aria Automation, and associated VMware technologies.
• Experience with Windows Server, Linux (RHEL), Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, PKI, and backup/recovery solutions.
• Proven analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience delivering complex, mission-critical infrastructure solutions in secure or highly available environments.
• Must have an NV1 Security clearance or higher
• VMware certifications (VCP-DCV, VCP-NV) and VMware Cloud Foundation implementation experience.
• Defence, government, or other secure-environment experience.
