Infosys Sydney is seeking a VCF Administrator (JL5) to lead VMware Cloud Foundation operations in a hybrid setup.

You will manage SDDC Manager, workload domains, upgrades, and patching, while ensuring platform availability and performance. The role requires 8+ years of experience and expertise in vSphere, NSX-T, vSAN, and automation with PowerCLI/PowerShell. Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a VCF Administrator (JL5).
• Experience administering and supporting VMware Cloud Foundation environments, including SDDC Manager operations.
• Proficient with ESXi, vCenter, vSAN and NSX-T networking.
• Knowledge of Linux administration and automation scripting.
• Familiar with PowerCLI/PowerShell for automation.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support VMware Cloud Foundation environments, SDDC Manager operations.
• Deploy and maintain workload domains; perform upgrades and patching.
• Manage ESXi hosts, vCenter, VMs, vSAN clusters, NSX-T networking.

Roles and Responsibilities

• The candidate should have strong experience in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), including SDDC Manager administration, workload domain management, lifecycle management, upgrades, and patching.
• Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, vCenter Server, ESXi, DRS, HA, vMotion, and cluster administration is essential.
• The individual should have hands-on experience with VMware vSAN, storage policies, capacity management, and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in NSX-T networking, distributed switches, routing, network virtualization, and security policies is required.
• The candidate should also possess experience in incident management, problem management, change management, performance monitoring, health checks, and Linux administration.
• Knowledge of PowerCLI, PowerShell, and scripting for automation is highly desirable.

Experience with VMware Aria Operations (vROps), VMware Aria Automation, VMware Aria Logs (Log Insight), VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM), VMware HCX, Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG), Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Python scripting, AWS, Azure, OCI, Veeam, Rubrik, Commvault, Dell EMC storage, and Cisco networking would be beneficial. VMware certification and ITIL knowledge are considered an added advantage.
