Job summary

CSA Mine in New South Wales is seeking a skilled underground services professional to install, maintain and repair essential systems such as air, water, dewatering, ventilation and power cabling. You will work with jumbo and development crews, perform inspections, and uphold strict safety and housekeeping standards.

A current driver's licence and pre-employment screening are required; physical fitness is essential for challenging underground conditions.

As key members of the mining team, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of essential underground services - keeping operations running smoothly and safely.

• Installing and maintaining services such as air, water, dewatering, ventilation, and power cabling
• Assisting with underground infrastructure moves, including pump setups and ventilation systems
• Conducting inspections and performing basic troubleshooting of service equipment
• Supporting jumbo and development crews as needed
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety in all working areas

About the Employer

The CSA Mine is located 11 kilometres north-west of Cobar, central western New South Wales. At 1.9 kilometres deep, it is one of Australia's deepest underground mines and is Australia's highest-grade copper mine.
