Reporting to the Early Childhood Regional Team Leader at Moonee Valley City Council, the Service Coordinator will provide leadership and manage a team of staff in the delivery of an inclusive and quality early childhood education and care service to meet the needs of children and families in line with the NQF and council values. You will champion and lead pedagogical development and service delivery in line with Council policy, practice and requirements.

This role is responsible for the operational management of a 109 place Early Learning Centre co-located with Maternal and Child Health services in a welcoming, family-centred setting.

Your key responsibilities will include:

To be successful in this role you'll have a Degree OR Diploma in Early Childhood Education with strong knowledge of child development and contemporary practices. You'll have experience in financial management, including budgeting and accurate reporting. Proven leadership, strong communication skills, and stakeholder engagement capabilities are essential, along with the ability to oversee day-to-day service delivery and drive continuous improvement.
