Job summary

Torus Group in Liverpool is seeking an Analytics Engineer (Service Charges) on a fixed-term contract until October 2028 to join our Business Intelligence team. You will end-to-end process data using SQL, Power BI and Microsoft Fabric to deliver dashboards, reports and insights that support service charge management across the group.

Qualifications

• Experience in Analytics Engineering, BI or data-focused role.
• Advanced SQL skills for transforming and reporting on large datasets.
• Experience developing dashboards with Power BI and Microsoft SQL Server technologies (SSRS/SSIS/SSAS).
• Strong data warehousing, data modeling and BI principles knowledge.
• Experience with complex datasets including financial or service charge data.
• Ability to turn data into clear insights for business performance.
• Experience maintaining data quality, governance and reporting integrity across sources.
• Analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ingest, transform and report on organisational data using SQL, Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and analytics solutions for service charge management and performance reporting.
• Model and analyse complex service charge and financial data for forecasting and planning.
• Write and maintain SQL scripts to automate reporting and improve data processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and define performance measures.
• Support data quality, governance and integrity across data sources.
• Produce and maintain documentation for reports, dashboards and data processes.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities to drive improvements.
