Job summary

VAS Auto Services is seeking a Service Advisor and Qualified Motor Mechanic in Buderim, Queensland. The role combines vehicle servicing and advisory duties within a well-established workshop, offering opportunities across a variety of makes and models.

The candidate should hold Cert III in Motor Mechanic, have a current Australian Driver's License, and be capable of working in a team while also operating autonomously. Roadworthy/Airconditioning licenses are a bonus.

Qualifications

• Qualified motor mechanic with Australian certification and license.
• Experience in servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles.
• Familiarity with European vehicles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, repair and maintain a wide range of vehicles.
• Resolve technical issues from routine servicing to major repairs.
• Assist customers in person and by phone when required.
• Support business improvement initiatives and workshop operations.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and presentable appearance.

Qualifications & experience - Qualified motor mechanic

Hold a Cert III (Motor Mechanic) Trade Qualification

Roadworthy Licence is a bonus but not a necessity

Airconditioning Licence is a bonus but not a necessity

Experience in European Motor Vehicles

Knowledge of experience with a variety of makes and models of vehicles

Effective time management skills and able to prioritise multiple responsibilities

Working well in a team environment as well as autonomously

Well presented, punctual and responsible

Good communication skills and a friendly disposition

A current Australian Drivers Licence

Tasks & responsibilities

Diagnosing, servicing, repairing and maintaining a wide range of vehicles

Resolving a wide range of technical issues from everyday servicing to minor/major repairs

Assisting with customer queries both in person and over the phone (when required)

Assisting with business improvement implementation

Overseeing the running of the workshop (at times)

High housekeeping standards and presents to work with a neat and tidy appearance
