Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a compassionate Servery Staff member to prepare and serve meals for residents in a supportive aged-care setting. The shift runs Monday to Friday from 2:30pm to 7pm, offering a meaningful role with daily opportunities to enrich lives and build community.

You will follow dietary requirements, check temperatures and presentation, maintain clean kitchen and dining areas, and welcome residents with warmth while reporting changes to your supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in a food service, kitchen or hospitality environment.
• Experience preparing, presenting or serving meals.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance.
• Current First Aid Certificate.

Your opportunity

You will prepare and serve meals in line with residents’ dietary requirements, food safety standards and Anglicare procedures. You will provide a supportive environment where teamwork and shared commitment ensure every meal is served with warmth, safety, and professionalism.

Your role is to create a positive mealtime experience that supports residents’ health, dignity, and emotional wellbeing through attentive service and collaboration with kitchen and care teams.

What’srequired
