StudioHawk, a premier SEO agency in Sydney, Australia, seeks an SEO Specialist to drive client campaigns with strategic direction, technical optimization, and performance analysis. You will own SEO initiatives, manage strategy, and collaborate with content writers, offsite, and PR.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years (or equivalent) in an SEO role.
• Hands-on experience with SEO tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog).
• Proven experience using AI to optimise SEO processes and strategies.
• Creative mindset and a drive for personal and professional progression.
• Strong and clear communication skills for emails, calls, and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Talk directly with clients to understand goals and craft strategies without bureaucratic delay.
• Execute SEO campaigns through technical work, content briefs, and coordination with StudioHawk specialists.
• Research keywords, competitors, and trends to find growth opportunities.
• Optimize websites and craft content strategies aligned with SEO best practices.
• Present insights and results to clients, explaining the rationale behind actions.
• Work closely with your team to share ideas, learn, and provide support.
• Learn and grow weekly through mentorship, workshops, and our learning program.

As an SEO Specialist, you’ll be the driving force behind our search campaigns - executing strategies that deliver measurable results. You’ll take ownership of SEO initiatives, managing everything from strategy and technical optimisation to implementation and performance analysis.

• Talking directly with clients to understand their goals and craft strategies that deliver results, without the bureaucracy of a traditional account manager.
• Executing SEO campaigns through technical work, strategies, content briefing, as well as coordinating with other specialists within StudioHawk such as content writers, offsite, PR.
• Researching keywords, competitors, and trends to uncover new growth opportunities.
• Optimising websites and crafting content strategies that align with SEO best practices.
• Presenting insights and results to clients, helping them understand the “why” behind every move.
• Working closely with your team - sharing ideas, learning, and supporting each other.
• Learning and growing every week through mentorship, workshops, our own world class learning & development program, and feedback.

Salary & Compensation:

We believe in transparency - here’s what this role offers:

• Base salary: AUD $75,000 to $85,000 + superannuation (depending on experience & technical ability)
• We believe in rewarding hard workers, not just giving them more stuff to do with nothing in return. Bonus/performance incentives tied to client outcomes and workload.
