Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Senior Youth Case Manager in Townsville to lead and support a dedicated team delivering AOD services to young people. This full-time permanent role focuses on high-quality case management across Youth Residential and Outreach programs.

Reporting to the AOD Client Services Lead, you will mentor practitioners, ensure alignment with the Journey to Independence model and PIE framework, and build strong partnerships across TSA youth services.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Social Work, Social Sciences or related discipline.
• Experience leading, coaching and supervising staff.
• Strong case management experience in AOD/youth/residential services.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Current Driver Licence.
• Blue Card or ability to obtain before commencement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Youth Case Managers to deliver outcomes.
• Provide day-to-day leadership across residential and outreach services.
• Ensure practice aligns with Journey to Independence Model of Care and PIE framework.
• Drive integrated service delivery across residential and outreach programs.
• Build partnerships across TSA youth, homelessness, family violence services.
• Participate in Townsville leadership team and on-call roster.
