Job summary

Youth Projects Ltd is seeking a Senior AOD Worker to lead frontline AOD support for young people in Melbourne's western suburbs. You will supervise two Youth AOD Workers, provide mentoring, and guide practice in counselling, brief interventions, harm reduction and integrated case management.

The role supports a growing Youth AOD Pathways program, supports reflective practice and contributes to evaluation projects aimed at improving pathways to education, employment and recovery for young people.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering AOD counselling, brief interventions and recovery-oriented practice.
• Experience supervising frontline workers and providing mentorship.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Advanced case management and risk assessment capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of Youth AOD Workers across Melbourne's western suburbs.
• Deliver high-quality AOD counselling, brief interventions and harm-reduction services.
• Support complex cases with supervision, risk assessment and care coordination.
• Contribute to program evaluation and research informing service improvements.
