Job summary

SRG Global is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor for a mining heavy earthmoving fleet in Australia. The role reports to the Site Project Manager, coordinating priorities, leading tradespeople, and overseeing planned and breakdown maintenance on heavy machinery.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in supervision within mining, a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic trade, and strong knowledge of Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Hitachi equipment.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience in workshop or maintenance supervision.
• Experience supervising trades teams on mining or heavy earthmoving sites.
• Strong knowledge of Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi equipment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workshop priorities and lead a team of tradespeople.
• Oversee planned and breakdown maintenance across a fleet of heavy earthmoving machinery.
• Ensure safety and efficiency of people, priorities and machinery on site.
