Job summary

The Department of Education in Victoria seeks a Senior Workplace Psychosocial Advisor to support government schools in the North East Victoria Region. You will provide expert advice on psychosocial hazards, translate legislative obligations into practical workplace improvements, and support schools to implement health and safety initiatives.

You will work with OHS teams across divisions, build capability, and help create safer, healthier workplaces with hands-on assistance and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Mental Health or related field.
• Victorian Driver's license required.
• Working with Children Check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice on psychosocial hazards to schools in the North East Victoria Region.
• Support implementation of OHS obligations and preventative measures.
• Develop policy guidance and resources to strengthen psychosocial safety across the education sector.
• Collaborate with OHS Implementation Services and other branches to embed psychosocial health and safety requirements.

Education
