Job summary

Riskwise Consulting Pty Ltd in Sydney CBD NSW seeks a Senior Consultant to lead workplace investigations and advisory projects across government, education, health and private sectors. The role is permanent full-time with a remote-first model within Australia and occasional domestic travel.

You will manage investigations from scoping to final report, conduct interviews, analyse evidence, draft findings and recommendations, and ensure procedural fairness while collaborating with senior colleagues.

Qualifications

• A completed undergraduate degree or higher in law, human resources, psychology, investigations, workplace relations, business or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience personally conducting workplace, employee relations, integrity, regulatory or other complex investigations.
• A sound understanding of evidence assessment, the applicable standard of proof, procedural fairness and defensible decision-making.
• Demonstrated exposure to psychosocial hazards and psychosocial safety in a workplace context.
• The ability to independently produce clear, structured and well-reasoned investigation reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage workplace investigations from initial scoping through to final report.
• Review and analyse complaints, policies, correspondence and other documentary evidence.
• Plan and conduct interviews with complainants, respondents and witnesses from diverse backgrounds.
• Prepare clear allegations, evidence summaries, analysis, findings and recommendations.
• Apply procedural fairness and relevant legislative, regulatory and policy requirements.
• Maintain accurate case records and handle sensitive information securely.
• Liaise directly with clients and provide clear, timely updates throughout each engagement.
• Contribute to other Riskwise projects and practice development.
