Job summary

icare NSW is seeking a Senior Litigation Specialist to lead complex pre-litigation and litigation disputes within the NSW workers compensation scheme. You will influence strategy, provide technical leadership, and deliver insights to improve customer outcomes.

The role reports to the Dispute Resolution leadership and offers a 12-month fixed-term contract in Sydney. Competitive salary from $154,231 plus super, based on skills and experience, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex workers compensation disputes and litigation.
• Understanding of workers compensation legislation and dispute resolution frameworks.
• Experience managing litigated matters in government, private practice, or insurance environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex liability reviews and dispute matters across workers compensation claims.
• Oversee litigation before the Personal Injury Commission and Courts.
• Instruct and manage legal service providers on dispute and litigation matters.
