Job summary

SA Health's Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network seeks a Senior WHS Consultant to lead workplace safety initiatives, manage risk, ensure legislative compliance and drive a zero-harm culture across our health network.

In this role you will collaborate with leaders and staff to develop safety strategies, support accreditation, and promote continuous improvement in WHS systems and practices across multiple facilities in rural South Australia.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to implement WHS systems and strategies, analyse data and drive continuous improvement.
• Senior-level WHS experience, preferably within a self-insurer environment.
• Experience in report writing, strategy development, supervision and mentoring.
• Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, evidence-based safety practices, public sector HR principles and quality improvement.
