Job summary

LGT Wealth Management in Sydney seeks an Experienced Associate in the Advisory team to provide senior support to Investment Advisers, manage complex client matters, and act as a key escalation point.

You will mentor junior Associates, help onboarding, and work with Avaloq and global investment solutions in a values-driven environment focused on long-term relationships with high net worth clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or related discipline
• RG146 accreditation or willingness to obtain
• AML/KYC or derivatives accreditation considered an advantage

Responsibilities

• Independently manage end-to-end onboarding of new clients, account openings and complex portfolio administration.
• Take ownership of key client activities including cash and stock transfers, corporate actions, margin calls, settlements, and international trading.
• Partner with Investment Advisers on high-value client relationships, preparing meeting materials, investment proposals, and review packs.
• Act as a trusted contact for clients on sensitive matters, escalating judiciously and coaching junior Associates.
• Maintain and ensure accuracy of client files within Avaloq, supporting compliance and process improvements.
• Liaise daily with clients, internal teams and external providers to resolve complex queries and deliver seamless service.
• Monitor annual reviews, documentation updates and risk profile renewals across the team.
• Mentor and support development of junior Associates and onboard new team members.
• Lead coordination of client functions and marketing events with minimal oversight.
