Job summary

Austal, based in Henderson, seeks a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to lead warehousing and logistics across multiple sites, ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective operations. You will oversee receipt, storage, distribution, expediting and maintenance of materials and equipment while driving continuous improvement.

The role requires 7+ years in supply chain/warehousing in complex environments, strong leadership and ERP experience (IFS).

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in Supply Chain, Warehousing and Logistics within complex environments such as shipbuilding, sustainment, defence or manufacturing.
• Experience with warehousing, inventory management and ERP systems (IFS).
• Proven leadership, coaching and people-management abilities.
• Defence Security Clearance eligibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a high-performing Warehouse & Logistics function across multiple sites.
• Develop and enforce safe, compliant policies and best practices for warehousing and logistics.
• Build and mentor a capable team through effective leadership and succession planning.
• Deliver excellent customer service and stakeholder support while managing resources and daily performance.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery.
