Job summary

Austal Defence Australia (ADA) seeks a detail‑focused Warehousing and Logistics Administrator to support efficient warehousing and logistics operations. You will process transactions in IFS, assist remote receipting, and ensure data integrity across on-site and subcontractor locations.

Applicants should have experience in supply chain or logistics roles, with ERP tools like IFS, SAP, or Pronto. A background in manufacturing, defence, or maritime environments is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, logistics or administrative support roles.
• Experience using ERP systems (IFS, SAP, Pronto or similar).
• Experience in manufacturing, defence or maritime environments.

Responsibilities

• Process warehouse and logistics transactions within IFS accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform remote warehouse receipting for subcontractor‑held inventory.
• Validate delivery documentation against purchase orders prior to receipting.
• Monitor and manage outstanding receipting to prevent backlog.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure system alignment with physical stock.
• Support stocktake coordination, reconciliation and discrepancy resolution.
• Manage and maintain documentation for audit and traceability purposes.
• Liaise with procurement, finance, suppliers, and warehouse teams to resolve issues.
• Provide transactional and administrative support to warehouse operations.
• Identify and escalation discrepancies impacting system accuracy and compliance.
