The role requires 5+ years in visual/motion design, advanced Photoshop, and strong Figma skills. This 12‑month contract offers onsite work with four days a week in Melbourne, across a collaborative, creative team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Visual Design or Motion Design or related field.
• Portfolio showing visual design, motion design, and Generative AI work preferred.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and brand systems.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality visual and motion design assets from concept through completion.
• Leverage Generative AI tools to produce image and video content.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Artist with exceptional visual design, motion design, and Generative AI expertise to create compelling visual experiences for next-generation consumer products.

You'll take creative concepts from ideation through to polished execution, combining traditional design craft with emerging AI-powered production workflows. This role is ideal for someone passionate about pushing creative boundaries, experimenting with new technologies, and delivering work that reaches a global audience.

What You'll Be Doing

• Create high-quality visual and motion design assets from concept through completion
• Leverage Generative AI tools to produce innovative image and video content
• Develop compelling visual narratives and communication design solutions
• Establish and champion creative standards, workflows, and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders globally
• Conduct research into emerging creative tools, technologies, and techniques
• Provide creative feedback, mentorship, and guidance to fellow designers
• Translate stakeholder briefs into impactful visual outcomes
• Help drive adoption of AI-powered creative workflows across projects and teams

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' experience in Visual Design, Motion Design, or related creative disciplines
• Typography
• Layout and composition
• Colour theory
• Visual storytelling
• Brand systems
• Hands-on experience using Generative AI tools for image and/or video creation
• Advanced Photoshop skills
• Experience with Figma
• Ability to balance creativity, speed, and quality in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and presentation capabilities

Nice to Have

• Cinema 4D, Blender, Redshift, or Octane experience
• Product, lifestyle, or consumer technology storytelling experience
• Agency, creative studio, or in-house brand background
• Experience working with globally distributed teams
• Understanding of AR, 3D design, or emerging creative technologies
