Job summary

Vasse Felix, established in 1967 as Margaret River’s founding wine estate, seeks a Senior Vineyard Operator for our Viticultural Team at the Wilyabrup Vineyard (50 hectares). The role supports all vineyard operations across 300 hectares, upholding sustainable practices while enhancing quality and yields within cost controls.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out all vineyard operations
• Assist in improving quality and yields whilst helping manage costs
• Contribute to maintaining and improving sustainable vineyard practices without compromising fruit quality
• Provide feedback to the team to promote an environment of continuous improvement
• Operate and maintain vineyard machinery, including mechanical pruners, sprayers, and harvest equipment
• Apply pest and disease control programs in line with best practice
• Assist in vineyard development, expansion, and redevelopment projects
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment

Vasse Felix, established in 1967 as Margaret River’s founding wine estate, is seeking a Senior Vineyard Operator to join our dedicated Viticultural Team.

With four exceptional vineyard sites across the region compromising 300 hectares, each matched to ideal varieties and farmed using sustainable, traditional, and organic practices, this is a rare opportunity to be part of a respected and progressive viticulture operation.

The role is based at our Wilyabrup Vineyard, encompassing 50 hectares of premium and Icon vineyard.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out all vineyard operations
• Assist in constantly improving quality and yields whilst helping manage costs
• Contribute to maintaining and improving sustainable vineyard practices without compromising fruit quality
• Provide feedback to the team to promote an environment of continuous improvement
• Operate and maintain vineyard machinery, including mechanical pruners, sprayers, and harvest equipment
• Apply pest and disease control programs in line with best practice
• Assist in vineyard development, expansion, and redevelopment projects
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment
