Job summary

Universal Hotels is recruiting an experienced Venue Manager for a high-volume gaming venue in Fairfield, NSW. You will oversee floor, bar, gaming and compliance, and lead a large team during extended trading hours.

You will bring proven venue-management experience in gaming-heavy environments, strong financial acumen, and RSA/RSG credentials. This role offers a hands-on leadership position within a family-owned hospitality group delivering community-focused venues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Venue Manager or senior gaming manager.
• Strong hands-on experience across gaming, TAB and Keno operations.
• Current RSA and RSG certification (NSW).
• Understanding of Fairfield local area and community focus.
• Confident leader capable of managing a demanding roster.
• Willingness to work late nights and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day operations across extended trading hours
• Lead a large gaming floor, including TAB and Keno operations
• Ensure full compliance with gaming, liquor licensing and RSA/RSG obligations
• Roster, manage, train and support performance across a sizeable team
• Manage budgets, labour costs and P&L performance
• Build strong relationships with the local Fairfield community and regulars
• Handle cash management, EOD reconciliation and reporting
• Work closely with the Universal Hotels support team to drive venue performance
