Job summary

Chairo Christian School in Drouin seeks a VCE Physics & Maths Teacher for the Senior School (Years 9–12) at the Drouin campus, commencing in January 2027. This is a part-time ongoing role (approx. 0.6 to 0.8 FTE).

The successful candidate will deliver the curriculum from a Christian worldview, foster a safe and caring environment, and may have the opportunity for a Position of Responsibility.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in education and registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
• Experience teaching Physics and/or Maths at VCE level is desirable.
• Ability to teach from a Christian worldview perspective.
• Ability to use a range of teaching strategies as appropriate.
• Commitment to the school’s Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Foster a safe and caring learning environment and model Christian values.
• Maintain positive attitudes and set challenging yet achievable expectations.
