Job summary

RSM Australia is seeking a Senior Analyst in the Valuations team to deliver high-quality valuation services across industries. You will assist in managing engagements, contribute to complex reports, and work with senior team members to provide commercially focused analysis.

This role offers exposure to transaction-related work, Independent Expert Reports, and expert witness matters, supporting your development in Corporate Finance within a leading professional services firm.

Qualifications

• Business/Commerce degree with Accounting major.
• CA qualification completed or near completion.
• 2–4 years in a professional services environment in a similar role.
• Valuations experience, preferably in Corporate Finance/Advisory/Consulting.
• Strong written and verbal communication; diligent and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare business and equity valuations for mergers, acquisitions and other corporate transactions.
• Assist with Independent Expert Reports for ASIC and ASX purposes.
• Support Expert Witness Reports for litigation and family law matters.
• Assist in Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) valuation reports for acquisition accounting.
• Prepare valuations of options and other financial instruments and derivatives.
• Conduct industry, market and company research to support engagements.
• Assist with engagement planning, project delivery and assignment administration.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and within deadlines.
