Job summary

Qualifications

• Business or Commerce degree with an Accounting major.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in financial modelling within Professional Services or a commercial environment.
• Advanced financial modelling skills and proficiency across Excel, Macros, VBA, BI and data visualisation tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and report writing skills.
• Demonstrated experience managing client engagements and project deliverables.
• Exposure to business development activities and client acquisition.
• Experience mentoring and leading high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, review and delivery of complex financial models
• Build and maintain models supporting transactions, forecasting, budgeting, valuations, business planning and investment decisions
• Prepare clear and concise model documentation and reporting
• Ensure quality, accuracy and compliance with modelling best practices
• Client Relationship Management
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing commercial insights and practical solutions
• Liaise with banks, lawyers, brokers and other professional advisors throughout engagements
• Project Management & Communication
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met
• Coordinate resources and project deliverables across engagement teams
• Present findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
• Leadership & Growth
• Coach, mentor and develop junior team members
• Support business development activities, proposals and client presentations
• Assist in identifying opportunities for growth within existing and prospective client relationships
