RSM Australia is seeking a Senior Analyst in our Valuations team to deliver high‑quality valuation services across diverse industries. You will manage small to medium engagements and collaborate with senior team members to provide commercially focused advice and analysis, with exposure to independent expert reports and transaction work.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' experience within a professional services environment in a similar role.
• Valuations experience, preferably within Corporate Finance, Advisory or Consulting.
• Completed or near‑completed CA qualification (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Prepare business and equity valuations for mergers, acquisitions and other corporate transactions
• Assist with Independent Expert Reports for ASIC and ASX purposes
• Support the preparation of Expert Witness Reports for litigation and family law matters
• Assist in the preparation of Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) valuation reports for business acquisition accounting
• Prepare valuations of options and other financial instruments and derivatives
• Conduct industry, market and company research to support valuation engagements
• Assist with engagement planning, project delivery and assignment administration
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
• Ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines

As a Senior Analyst within our Valuations team, you'll play a key role in delivering high‑quality services across a broad range of industries and clients. You’ll bring

• A Business or Commerce degree with an Accounting major
• 2‑4 years' experience within a professional services environment in a similar role
• Valuations experience, preferably within Corporate Finance, Advisory or Consulting
• Completed or near‑completed CA qualification (or equivalent)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical capability
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• A proactive approach and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
• Strong relationship‑building and networking skills
