IGT is seeking a Software Engineer (Developer III) to join our Sydney game studio and help build innovative slot games for US and APAC markets. You will design and develop game software using Unity and C#/.NET, collaborating with designers, artists, mathematicians, sound engineers and fellow developers.

As a senior contributor, you’ll influence architectural decisions, participate in code reviews, and help improve development practices across teams worldwide. Location: Sydney, Australia.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant software development experience with a Bachelor's degree; or
• 3+ years of relevant experience with a Master's degree; or
• A PhD in a relevant discipline

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and modify high-quality software applications and game features.
• Develop slot game functionality using Unity and C#/.NET.
• Collaborate with designers, artists, mathematicians, sound engineers and developers to turn game concepts into finished products.
• Participate in creative problem solving, technical design and product development.
• Contribute to architectural guidelines and technical solutions with leadership.
• Investigate technologies and development practices to improve products and processes.
• Deliver tasks to schedules and communicate progress clearly to team and leadership.
• Identify risks early and propose practical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and help raise engineering standards.
• Develop reusable technical solutions for the wider team.
