Brunel seeks an experienced Mining Engineer to join a Life of Mine Studies team supporting a major underground copper project. The role focuses on long-term planning, scheduling and design in a technically demanding environment.

You will contribute to pre-feasibility studies, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and leverage Deswik tools to optimise plans and strategies for future development. Strong ownership and communication are essential.

Qualificações

• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering.
• 5+ years' relevante mining engineering experience, with significant underground exposure.
• Strong hands-on underground mine planning and scheduling experience.
• Experience with Deswik, Deswik.Sched and Deswik.CAD.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, review and optimise underground mine plans and schedules.
• Undertake Life of Mine (LOM), long-term and strategic mine planning.
• Develop and assess underground development and production schedules.
• Use Deswik to develop and evaluate mine plans, designs and schedules.
• Prepare technical documents and present findings to stakeholders.
