Job summary

Newmont Mining’s Cadia operation in central New South Wales seeks a Supervisor Engineering Mining to coordinate engineering deliverables, handovers and planning interfaces across Operations, Technical Services and Studies, ensuring critical cave infrastructure and production projects are execution-ready and aligned for safe delivery.

You will lead the engineering interface for transitioning project outcomes into operations, support planning, scheduling and forecasting for cave ramp-up, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering and a current C-Class Driver's Licence.
• Considerable experience in underground metalliferous mining environments.
• Experience using Deswik for mine planning and design.
• Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Strong project management, risk management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical handovers between Studies, Projects, Technical Services, and Operations for execution readiness.
• Act as the primary engineering interface for transitioning project outcomes into operations.
• Support planning, scheduling, and forecasting for safe cave ramp-up and project execution.
• Deliver mine designs and outputs for underground development and production drilling and blasting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify risks and optimize engineering processes.
