Deswik, a global mining technology leader, is looking for a Senior Mining Consultant – Underground Mining in Perth. You will combine your practical mining experience with Deswik software to solve complex planning challenges for world-class operators.

The role emphasizes mine planning, design, scheduling, and technical services, with responsibilities including delivering projects, training customers, and contributing to software improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Mining Engineer with strong mine planning, design, scheduling or technical services experience.
• Underground mining experience preferred; strong open pit experience considered for candidates with mine planning capability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mine planning, software implementation and consulting projects for Deswik customers.
• Train, support and advise customers, becoming a trusted technical partner across their operations.
• Apply mining expertise to solve complex planning and operational challenges.
• Lead and contribute to customer projects, presentations and technical demonstrations.
• Provide input into Deswik software improvements, including scoping and testing new features
