The Weir Group is seeking a Principal Mining Engineer to lead underground planning and scheduling initiatives for Micromine Advance. You will build demonstration models, develop production schedules and guide customers through evaluations.

This hybrid role offers global exposure and a Perth base, with a strong emphasis on client-facing consulting, technical demonstrations and collaboration to optimise mining operations and decision-making.

Formación

• Degree in Mining Engineering.
• Experience in underground hard rock mining planning/scheduling.
• Strong understanding of mine planning, scheduling and forecasting.
• Experience with planning software (Micromine Advance, Deswik, Spry, EPS, MineRP).
• Consulting, customer-facing or pre-sales experience is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Build demonstration models and production schedules for evaluations.
• Lead software evaluations and customer engagements.
• Deliver engaging technical demonstrations to clients.
• Provide guidance on planning, scheduling and forecasting best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sales and consulting opportunities.
