Job summary

RSM Australia is seeking a Senior Analyst in Restructuring & Recovery to support businesses, lenders and stakeholders through periods of change and to deliver practical solutions to financial and operational challenges.

You will gain hands-on exposure to financial analysis, cash flow forecasting, business reviews and turnaround initiatives, while building client relationships in a fast-paced advisory environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in a similar role.
• Business/Commerce degree with Accounting major.
• Law degree with interest in insolvency.
• Completion or near completion of CA or equivalent.
• Commencement of Insolvency Education Program (ARITA).
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Review receipt authority, payment authority, day one investigation letters and statutory forms.
• Conduct investigations into the affairs of a company/individual
• Analyse available records and information to identify voidable transaction recoveries
• Prepare ASIC reports
• Assist with interview of directors/bankrupts
• Reviews work of Graduates
• Helps identify, research and resolve all complex issues
• Prepare letters of demand
• Assist with the trade on of a business including the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Assist with asset recoveries and realisations
• Liaise with lawyers, agents and auctioneers
• Preparation of reports to creditors including financial analysis
• Preparation of reports and correspondence to secured creditors
• Adjudication of creditor Proofs of Debt and distribution of dividends to creditors
• Draft correspondence and act as main point of contact in regards to correspondence on engagements
