Job summary

Linktal Recruitment in Sydney is seeking a General Manager, Trustees to lead the Trustee relationship management function and shape the strategic direction for client onboarding, retention and service quality.

The role reports to the Managing Director and offers responsibility for financial performance, risk oversight and governance for registered and unregistered managed schemes within a global fund services group.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in fund/asset management or a similar financial services role.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in funds management.
• Proven leadership with stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for client onboarding, retention and service quality across the Trustee portfolio.
• Lead, mentor and develop a relationship management team to embed ownership and risk awareness.
• Own financial performance of the client portfolio and act as the senior escalation point for complex governance matters.
• Partner with compliance, legal and operations on regulatory obligations, tracking market trends and representing the firm with clients and industry partners.
