Job summary

Macquarie Bank Limited in Sydney seeks an Associate Director for the Office of the Trustee to support the independent trustee Board and senior stakeholders with governance and regulatory oversight.

You will lead Board engagement, provide governance guidance, and ensure the voice of the Board and superannuation members informs key business decisions. The role requires extensive experience across governance, superannuation, and regulatory environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in governance, superannuation, legal, risk, compliance, or related area.
• University qualifications in Law, Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or similar discipline.
• Demonstrated leadership experience influencing senior stakeholders and strategic outcomes.
• Strong communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement with Boards and senior management.
• Sound knowledge of the superannuation regulatory environment and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Support independent trustee Board and management in meeting legal and regulatory obligations.
• Promote the financial interests of superannuation members.
• Provide governance and regulatory guidance influencing strategic decisions across the business.
