Job summary

Department of Transport and Main Roads in Queensland is seeking a capable leader to plan, coordinate and manage Wide Bay Burnett District's program of concept planning, options analysis, and business cases for nominated transport infrastructure projects.

You will lead the district's planning program, manage the project planning team and consultants to meet deliverables, and ensure on-time, on-budget project outcomes while maintaining standards and quality across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• A four-year, WA-accredited Civil Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Registration as a RPEQ is required.
• A C class driver’s licence is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the district's planning program with key stakeholders.
• supervise the project planning team, consultants and contractors to meet deliverables, time and budget.
• Prepare submissions and reports on planning and technical issues and identify mitigation strategies.
• Engage with community and local governments to support public consultation and liaison.
