Job summary

Maranoa Regional Council is seeking a Senior Engineer to shape its transport network across roads, drainage and footpaths in Roma, Queensland. You will lead asset planning, capital works delivery and network management, reporting to the Manager – Roads Strategy.

This fully‑employed role offers a 9‑day fortnight and substantial leave benefits. You will work with internal stakeholders, consultants and contractors to plan, design, and renew essential transport assets and ensure delivery aligned

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
• General Construction Induction (White Card) or ability to obtain prior to commencement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate asset planning, capital works delivery and transport network management.
• Plan and deliver capital works projects, including scoping, estimates and planning.
• Support design coordination and supervise consultants.
• Prepare tender documents, assist with evaluations and contract administration.
• Coordinate data collection, reporting and engagement for Council reports.
