Job summary

RSM Australia is seeking a Senior Analyst/Senior Associate to join the Transaction Services team in Melbourne. You will deliver financial due diligence, assist with buy-side and sell-side engagements, and provide commercial insights to support decisions.

With 3–6 years in Transaction Services or related advisory, you will manage workstreams, coach junior team members, and collaborate with managers, directors and clients.

Qualifications

• Business, Commerce or Accounting degree is required.
• CA/ACA/CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Approximately 3–6 years' experience in Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, Audit, Deals Advisory or related environment.
• Strong financial analysis and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Sound understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Execute buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements, including planning, financial analysis, interviews, databook prep, report drafting and presenting findings.
• Assist with due diligence engagements for IPOs and capital market transactions.
• Perform financial and operational analysis to identify drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Review forecasts, budgets and financial models to assess performance and future expectations.
• Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Support coaching, mentoring and development of junior team members.
• For Senior Associate, contribute to project management, client communication and oversight of juniors.
