Job summary

RSM Australia is seeking a Senior Analyst/Senior Associate in Melbourne to deliver financial due diligence and transaction support for mergers, acquisitions and capital markets activities. You will work with managers, directors and partners across buy-side and sell-side engagements, guiding junior team members and coordinating with clients and advisers.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years in related services, strong financial analysis, advanced Excel skills, and proven ability to communicate complex

Qualifications

3–6 years' experience in Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, Audit or Deals Advisory.
Strong financial analysis and accounting knowledge.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with large data sets.
Excellent report writing and presentation abilities.
Capacity to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements, including planning, analysis, and reporting.
Act as Investigating Accountant for IPOs and capital market engagements.
Analyze financial and operational data to identify key drivers, risks and opportunities.
Review forecasts, budgets and models to assess performance and outlook.
Draft concise, client-focused reports and presentation materials.
Support coaching and development of junior team members.
Collaborate with clients, legal advisers, bankers and PE firms on engagements.
