A financial trading firm in North Sydney is looking for a passionate Junior Futures Trader to join their team. This full-time position involves learning and implementing innovative trading strategies while collaborating with experienced traders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for financial markets, strong problem-solving skills, and experience in futures trading. Qualifications

• 1+ years experience with futures trading is preferred.
• Knowledge of algorithmic trading concepts is a plus.
• Experience in Chess, Poker, Gaming is beneficial.
• Knowledge of financial markets, trading systems, and algorithmic trading concepts.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Experience in Chess, Poker, Gaming beneficial.
• Bachelors or similar degree beneficial, however not required.

Responsibilities

• Learn and implement futures trading strategies.
• Work closely with experienced Traders and Market participants.
• Engage with Quantitative Research and Development team.
• Engage in discussions to improve execution and strategy performance.

Position Overview

We're looking to hire Junior Futures Traders who are eager to push boundaries, learn, create and implement futures trading strategies. In this role, you'll work hand-in-hand with extremely experienced Traders and Market participants, who will teach you how to trade global futures markets. You will have regular discussions with our Quantitative Research and Development team to work on additional futures trading strategies and ideas.
