Job summary

SEEK Limited is seeking a senior cybersecurity professional based in Melbourne (also open to Sydney or Brisbane) to lead threat intelligence and insider risk management. You will work within a cross-functional security team to identify threats, refine detections, and advance proactive security initiatives across SEEK's infrastructure and products.

The role emphasizes mentorship, strategic security planning, and strong collaboration with executives to strengthen the organization's security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, national security, intelligence, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cyber security, intelligence, or national security.
• Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, threats, TTPs, and incident response.
• Ability to perform hands-on technical analysis, log review across technologies.
• Clear communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations into internal and external security threats and brief leadership on trends.
• Triage insider risk scenarios and communicate findings to senior leadership.
• Collect and analyse threat intelligence from OSINT and proprietary sources.
• Maintain intelligence collection requirements based on stakeholder needs.
• Monitor security alerts, tune detections, and collaborate with IR and SOC teams.
• Support threat hunting and uplift controls based on findings.
• Advise on geopolitical matters and international travel security risks.
• Assist with forensic imaging and CTI metrics reporting.
• Mentor security peers and promote security culture across the organization.
